Artificial intelligence is changing education, but one thing still makes the difference: a teacher with good ideas.
This course will help you use AI as an ally, not a replacement. You will learn to use ChatGPT and other tools to save hours of preparation, unlock your creativity and design lessons that spark your students’ curiosity and interest.
Through storytelling, content creation and active learning strategies, you will discover how to generate ideas for your lessons, create presentations in minutes, explain complex concepts simply, design more participatory activities and adapt materials to the needs of each group.
AI is not here to replace your experience as a teacher. It is here to help you spend less time preparing materials and more time doing what you do best: teaching, connecting and inspiring.
What will you learn?
This is a very hands-on course. In every session you will put the tools into practice as you learn them, so you finish the course with ideas, resources and materials you can use straight away in your classroom.
Course programme
Module 1. Ideas
Make AI your thinking partner.
We will work on generating ideas, writing prompts and adapting activities to different ages, subjects and teaching contexts.
You will learn to:
- Generate ideas for any topic or subject in seconds.
- Write prompts tailored to your students’ age, your subject and your classroom context.
- Get past creative block when you don’t know where to start.
- Design projects, discussion questions and cross-curricular activities.
- Adapt the same idea to different levels and learning styles.
Module 2. Lessons and resources
Create quality materials in far less time.
We will use ChatGPT and other AI tools to prepare useful, clear materials that suit each participant’s teaching style.
You will learn to:
- Plan complete lessons with clear objectives.
- Create engaging presentations with ChatGPT and other AI tools.
- Produce worksheets, quizzes, rubrics and classroom activities.
- Create revision materials, summaries and resources for different levels.
- Have ready-to-use resources without losing your own teaching style.
Module 3. Strategies
Make your lessons more engaging and memorable.
We will use storytelling, active learning and creative resources to capture attention, encourage participation and create experiences students remember.
You will learn to:
- Design games and activities that encourage participation.
- Use storytelling to explain any concept clearly and memorably.
- Create hooks that grab attention from the first minute.
- Design debates, group activities and more participatory learning experiences.
- Discover practical strategies to spark your students’ curiosity, critical thinking and motivation.
You learn by doing. Throughout the course you will create materials, try out tools and build resources you can use in your lessons the very next day.
